In 1944, in the heart of Florence, Fratelli Zanobini was founded as a family-run wine shop with a clear identity: bringing the wines produced by the Zanobini family directly to the public.

The story begins in the land. At Tenuta Le Lame, in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, the family has long produced Chianti Classico wines with a strong connection to the Tuscan territory. The roots of this tradition are even older: as early as the 1700s, vine growing and winemaking were already part of the Zanobini family history.

Founded by the brothers Gino and Silvano Zanobini, the enoteca opened in Via Sant’Antonino, in the historic center of Florence, just a few steps from San Lorenzo Market. From the beginning, it was not only a place to buy wine, but also a traditional Florentine wine shop where customers could enjoy wine by the glass, talk, meet and discover local wine culture.

Over time, Enoteca Zanobini has grown while preserving its authentic, family-run character. Today, the wine shop is still led by Mario Zanobini, son of Gino, together with the third generation: Marco and Fabio Zanobini, who continue the family tradition in both the enoteca and the wine production.

Marco, an oenologist, follows the production side with technical expertise and a modern vision. Together with Fabio, he has strengthened the connection between the winery, the wine shop and customers from Italy and abroad. Visitors do not simply come in to buy a bottle: they come to hear a story, discover a pairing, understand a vintage and experience a real Florentine atmosphere.
